A New Artist-in-Residence Program

The MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research is starting a pilot program. This institute is a place where scientists study space and the universe. They are creating a new artist-in-residence program. Amy Karle is an ultra-contemporary artist. She has been chosen to be the program's first artist-in-residence. She will hold this position during the 2026-27 academic year.
