Artificial Intelligence Defeats Human Champions at Stratego
Researchers have created a new artificial intelligence system named Ataraxos. They are from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Carnegie Mellon University, New York University, and Stanford University. It defeated the best human players at the board game Stratego. The team published their research in the journal Nature on 30 September 2026.
